WHAT are the CORE VALUES of Wired Student Ministries?

Core Value #1: We value a BIBLICAL FOUNDATION – The heart and soul of our ministry is rooted in the absolute Truth of God’s Word and is foundational to everything we do. We also recognize the five biblical purposes of the church (evangelism, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and ministry) and strive for a balanced implementation of those purposes.

Core Value #2: We value a RELATIONAL APPROACH – We value relationships at the core of our ministry – relationships with each other and our ultimate, life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Core Value #3: We value RELEVANT APPLICATIONS – We want to make sure that what we do “hits the mark” so that students can relate to the message we proclaim and apply it into their lives on a practical level. As a part of this, we value creativity, excellence, and innovation as vital elements in making relevant applications.

Core Value #4: We value a KINGDOM FOCUS – We recognize that we are a small part of the Universal Church and we want to fulfill the role that God wants us to play in His Kingdom. Therefore, we will seek to partner with like-minded churches to accomplish His plan and purposes for building His Kingdom next door, in our state, our nation, and the world.

What’s the deal with “WIRED” Student Ministries?
There are a couple of concepts that are woven into the “WIRED” concept:

First is the idea that we are each WIRED by God – we are each uniquely created by God in His image.
We are also WIRED with a purpose – to love God and love people.
Lastly, since we are a student ministry that has lots of energy and fun, we are simply WIRED – full of energy, enthusiasm, and excitement!

Is there a main verse that characterizes the Student Ministries?
Yes! Matthew 22:37-39. “Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Who is considered a “student”?
A teenager or young adult who is in 6th grade through college or is school age.
